Shady Bits helps you review selected Android privacy controls. It has no account, advertising, analytics, tracker SDK, or backend.
Information used on your phone
When you request a supported check, Shady Bits processes the settings-screen labels and control state needed to identify and read that control. A result can include the control, reading time, app version, and scanner version.
Results, review progress, preferences, and choices you record stay in the app’s local storage. A choice you report is kept separate from a verified result.
Shady Bits does not use the contents of your messages, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera to perform a review. Checking whether an app has an Android permission does not copy the information that permission could expose.
Accessibility access
If you enable Shady Bits in Android Accessibility, it can open the supported app you chose, follow a known settings route, and read the selected control after you request a check.
Shady Bits does not change the setting, save screenshots or full screen trees, keep unrelated screen text, or use Accessibility to monitor unsupported apps. You can review the instructions without enabling access and can disable Shady Bits in Android Settings at any time.
Storage and deletion
Local records remain until you remove them in Shady Bits, clear the app’s data, or uninstall it. The app does not provide cloud sync and excludes its data from Android backup and device transfer.
Clearing Shady Bits records does not change settings in other apps or revoke Android’s separate Accessibility permission.
External pages
Opening a receipt or support link sends the public URL to your browser. Shady Bits does not add a setting result, app account, or other review data to that URL. The destination site and browser handle the visit under their own policies.
Support, changes, and contact
If you email support, RAM.BULLS receives what you choose to send and uses it to respond and investigate the issue. Do not send passwords, messages, contact lists, or other people’s information.
Material changes to Shady Bits data use will be reflected here and, when required, explained before the changed behavior is enabled.
